Cancellation Policy Before Shipping
If unfortunately, you have to cancel an order, please do so within 24 hours of placing the order. Simply email us at homesense.kolkata@gmail.in with your order number mentioned in the subject line.
Cancellation Policy After Shipping
We don't accept order cancellations once the shipment has been handed over to the courier company from our end.
Cancellation from our end
Even though we do not have any discretions over orders being placed on our website by visitors, we do hold the eventual authority over fulfilling it. We might put an order on hold or cancel it if it is deemed fraudulent or malicious, without liability. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in scenarios like inaccuracies in pricing of product on the website and stock unavailability. We may also require additional verification or information before accepting any order. We may contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed to your account. Any promotional voucher used for the cancelled orders may not be refunded. Further, in case of suspicious transactions, we reserve the right to inform law enforcement officials and provide them with all transaction details that may be requested for investigation of any illegal activity.
In case of cancellation before shipment, we process the refund within 24-48 business hours after receiving the cancellation request.
In case of the shipment being returned, we process the refund once the products have been received and verified at our warehouse.

For payments done through credit/debit cards or net banking or wallet/UPI, the refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the products back. It may take 5-7 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

For cash on delivery transactions, we will initiate a bank transfer against the refund amount against the billing details shared by you. This process will be completed within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the products and your bank details on email.
Return / Replacement Policy
You can EXCHANGE/RETURN the product in case of defect or wrong product received.Â
1. Customers can return/ replace their order within 3 days of the order delivery.
2. All returns must be in unused condition with all original tags and packaging intact.
3. For exchange/ replacement requests, products must be in their original and brand new condition.
3. No returns applicable on Deal Of the Day Products.

5. After we receive your request we'll need 72hrs time to validate the return and resolve the issue. After validation reverse pickup will be assigned.
(The Reverse Pick up facility is currently available on limited pin-codes due to Covid-19)
6. If you choose to self-ship your product(s), you are requested to pack the items securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. For all self-shipped product(s), we recommend you to do it through a reliable local courier service.Â
7. Share us the courier receipt in mail with the above details so that we can dispatch the replaced order asap.
Returns will only be accepted under the following conditions:
- Product is not damaged due to misuse/overuse
- Returned with original packaging including, price tags, labels, freebies and other accessories.
- Serial Number and original packaging is not tampered.
- Product is unused and unaltered.
- If request is initiated within 2 business days of order delivery.
- Not a free product.
- Does not come under Exceptions.
- Defective products that are not covered under Seller/Manufacturer’s warranty.
RefundsÂ
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund request was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that it can take 5-7 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
​Exceptions / non-returnable / non-replaceable itemsÂ
We do not exchange vitamin C serums. We store our vitamin C in cool temperature until it’s shipped out to you to avoid oxidation. However, pure vitamin C has a tendency to leak/oxidise in hot weather conditions it is exposed to during transit which is beyond our control. Hence, pure vitamin C is the only product that we do not offer exchange on.
